"There are always seasonal fluctuations in the demand for used vans," sai 2011 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 d Simon Joyce, Sales Director for Anchor Vans, "but we noticed a significant increase in demand for used VW Transporter vans now that the summer holidays are just around the corner. We've had lots of interest in camper vans too as the festival season is upon us, and I reckon a few of our vans spent the weekend at Glastonbury quite recently!"
When asked why used VW Transporter vans in particular are so popular with the surfing community, Simon replied; "They're reliable vehicles and can easily be adapted for purpose. For example, we can fit racks for surfboards in the back and still have loads of room left for all the other gear too. There are other adaptations too for the really serious surfers.
